"We researched just about every available aircraft for nearly two years, and were unable to better the qualities of the Tecnams. So, we ordered ours, a Tecnam Echo in April '02 taking delivery in December '02 at Redcliffe, Queensland from Bruce Stark. 'Oskar' is one of Bruce's first non-commercial sales. Bruce Stark provided the best of service during the time prior its arrival from Italy and has continued to be amazingly supportive; he's always a welcome visitor at our airstrip. The Tecnam is a wonderful aircraft, safe, responsive and great endurance - its Rotax 100HP engine is undoubtedly the engine of choice for light aircraft, being able to use Avgas or Ulp (unleaded) is a major advantage for us west of the range! This is an aircraft built by a world-class aeronautical company, which holds its value and most importantly will get you there and back enjoyably and safely. " Louise Skidmore, Clifton Qld

"In all my dealings with Bruce Stark, he has been the ultimate gentleman and extremely ethical. The Bravo gave me a few frights at first because it is a lot lighter than my previous planes (Piper Arrow III, Cessna 150 and Cessna XP Hawk), but it is a very forgiving aeroplane and just likes to fly and fly, whether it's at 2 miles a minute or on the point of stall. Like all new aeroplanes it is a matter of getting to know the handling characteristics and familiarise yourself with everything - especially the Airmaster prop which is a bit different to what I was used to. The Bravo was bought as a fun machine to cruise up and down the beaches at 500ft and enjoy a Saturday or Sunday afternoon jolly, and it certainly fulfills that criteria very well. It is cheap to run: 20lt per hour at 120kts, whereas my XP Hawk and Arrow III had double the fuel burn for the same speed. Looking at it logically, I rarely had any more than 2 people in my previous aircraft, so the Bravo with only 2 seats was no real loss of amenity. You feel the bumps more in LSA than in a heavier aeroplane, but you get used to them and just belt up tighter! I decided the Bravo was the one for me (instead of the Cessna 182S which was my other choice) because of my advancing years and the ability to be GA registered now, and then to (transfer) to RA-Aus in the future if I had to. Bruce set the Bravo up with full (like IFR) panel instrumentation and the AvMap GPS, which is easy to use and simple to understand. He also installed the new ELB, two radios and transponder with Mode C. It is very handy to be able to drive to the local servo and fill up the cans with Premium Unleaded instead of having to pay landing fees at an Avdata hungry airport to fill up the tank with avgas. The Bravo uses either avgas or Premium ULP. Another real benefit with the strutless wing, is a farmer can taxi through the farm gates!! In all a great fun machine, and thank you Bruce and Linda for all your kind assistance during sales and delivery." Margaret
Testimonial: John (Somersby NSW) P92 2000RG RA-Aus reg
"Best thing that happened to me since my retirement was to visit Narromine in 2003 and evaluate the wide variety of light recreational aircraft available on show. After a thorough check over the three days of the show, of all the types on display...and all the brochures available...my interest centred on the Tecnam range as offering the best combination to suit my preferences.
These I had narrowed down to...all metal, reasonable size cockpit, no shared control column, good visibility, reliable engine etc etc.
I was also fortunate to meet up with Linda and Dominic who allowed me to sit in the cockpit of their Tecnam Echo Super and took time out to answer all my questions regarding the operational and financial aspects of operating their aircraft.
About mid 2004, whilst I was being tutored by Linda Court on a Tecnam at Gympie in preparation to obtaining my RA-Aus licence, Bruce Stark sent me the specs of a Tecnam P92 2000 RG, which had been used as a Tecnam factory demonstrator We agreed on a suitable purchase figure and delivery took place just prior to Christmas 2004.
I have thoroughly enjoyed flying 24-4199 on a regular basis since including several extensive safaris and she is now one of the family."
