The P92 Echo Super is an evolution of the P-92 model, the result of further improvement of the A/C, drawing on the experience of prolonged and varied use of hundreds of P-92 aircraft flying in the most diverse environmental conditions, coupled with unrelenting research in aerodynamics, structures and systems.
THE P92 ECHO SUPER ATTAINS NEW GOALS OF EXCELLENCE: With its 100 Hp engine (Rotax 912ULS), superior performance, dependable systems, sturdy structure, low maintenance cost and competitive pricing, the P92 ECHO SUPER is unrivaled by a/c in similar or even higher weight category. The advantage becomes even clearer when taking into account the great ease in piloting, servicing and repair. Main variations with respect to P92-S are as follows:
More spacious cabin
High efficiency slotted flaps Larger instrument panel
Reduced wing surface Contoured fuselage
Improved soundproofing
The aerodynamic contour of the fuselage has been improved by eliminating live edges and streamlining the nose section. The traditional landing gear that has long-been a distinctive feature of the P-92 is unvaried with the exception of small modifications of the wheel fairings. The fuel system is made up of two metal fuel tanks with a total capacity of 90 litres. The two tanks are positioned, one each, in proximity of the inboard end of half-wing's leading edge and fuel gages are mounted on cockpit instrument panel. A standby electric fuel pump insures fuel supply for any given flight attitude in case of mechanical pump malfunction. The large flapped portion of the wingspan coupled with the increased efficiency of the lower hinged slotted flaps has permitted a reduction of the wing’s surface. The resulting increase in wing loading has, in turn, yielded better performance in turbulent air and greater maneuverability. Structural load factor is increased by a factor of one.
