TECNAM ANNOUNCES NEW DEALERS

 for NSW/ACT and W.A.

TECNAM LIMITED, South Pacific Distributor for the TECNAM Range of Light Aircraft, proudly announces the appointment of two new Exclusive State Dealerships. This follows the major restructuring of our Australian operations, where national sales growth of TECNAM aircraft has necessitated the introduction of dedicated state dealers to better service the expanding Australian aviation market.

NEW SOUTH WALES/ACT    Chris and Jenny Cabot established Wagga Air Centre twelve years ago, during which time they have run a highly successful operation that includes Charter Flights, Freight Services and their very popular Outback Fishing Adventures by Air. Their comprehensive fleet consists of twelve aircraft, both rotary and fixed-wing. Wagga Air Centre also conducts Flight Training, from Recreational Licences to Multi-engine IFR.

Chris Cabot has considerable aviation experience dating back some 25 years, when he followed his father’s example and began flight training in 1983. His passion for flying led to achieving his Commercial Pilot’s licence in 1990, when he established an aircraft charter business called CABAIR Charter Service, the forerunner to Wagga Air Centre.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA    Geoffrey and Carla McDougall of Kelmac Aviation Pty Ltd have been part of the aviation industry for more than 25 years and are in the process of building a comprehensive facility in Geraldton, Western Australia. Trading as ‘TECNAM Aircraft W.A.’, their new complex at Geraldton Airport will offer a TECNAM Flight Training School and Factory Approved TECNAM Service Centre.

 Geoffrey McDougall has an impressive background in military aviation, joining the RAAF as a pilot in 1983, where he flew the CT-4 trainer, Macchi, Caribou, PC-9, F/A-18 and Hawk, achieving instructor status in 1990 and performing as a Solo Aerobatic Display Pilot with the Roulettes. Following a period as a civilian contract instructor on PC-9's in the Middle East, he returned to Australia to develop commercial interests. Geoffrey’s extensive General Aviation experience includes a Multi-engine Command IFR Rating, Commercial Pilot’s Licence and Recreational Pilot qualifications.
